A generic roguelike, but in 4 dimensions!

The game is a 2D grid of 2D grids, making for a functionally 4D game that can still be projected onto a 2D screen!

Controls:

WASD for 2D movement
Q for Z up,
C for Z down,
Z for W left,
E for W right,

and X to skip turn.

these concepts are wildly fun, sadly the game has no content.

I got a bit bored with the project aftering getting the main functionality done, I may come back to it though, or just release the source code so someone else can have a play with it too

where could I find the codes?

Nice! Maybe IJKL would work better for moves in the 3rd and 4th dimension.

I'm used to WASDQEShiftSpace for movement in 4D games (or just WASDQE with space for jump if there's gravity)

That does seem like it would make more sense, if I ever pick this up again I'll have to try that

are you the Igor Galochkin who made Minefield 6D before?

Yes, I made Minefield 6d almost 20 years ago

This game has a really cool concept and makes good use as a puzzle game. However, I do not know whether I have reached the end or there is more to the game. Also were there enemies i would have encountered? It is a cool concept overall

Thanks for the playthrough!

Yes, there are supposed to be enemies, but it seems that part of the game broke before I could build it and send it off to itch.io

I also probably need a tutorial or at least letters on the boxes at the start to start people off, but it looks like you got a hang of it pretty quickly.
